Scott Wroe approached us with a simple brief: To modernise his existing hearing centre in Malvern, whilst maintaining a welcoming environment for his patients.
The first challenge was to come up with a contemporary design which reflected their professional service, but still achieved that personal and welcoming touch. We achieved this by mixing modern displays from our Concept.s Hearing range with bespoke cabinetry and clever detailing in the materials and finishes.
It was important to create a scheme that worked practically for all, including elderly patients, which made up a significant proportion of their clients. We then faced the important challenges of room acoustics and how to effectively display small hearing aids. To ensure the right level of speech privacy was achieved, we installed some suspended acoustic panels that not only reduced echo, but also looked great.
In regards to the presentation of the digital aids themselves, we carefully selected suitable individual displays from our catalogue, situating them in bespoke LED lit recessed boxes which really highlight the products to their best.
Each piece of cabinetry including the reception desk and record card drawer unit were made bespoke to the client’s brief, with an allocated space for everything and the addition of some nifty features such as a glass display window within the desk top. The overall result was a practical and inviting space that reflected quality and professionalism.
