FAQs
What does Mewscraft do?
Mewscraft provides interior design, fit-out and bespoke furniture services for opticians, eyewear brands, jewellers and audiology providers, as well as offices and other premium retail environments
What area do you cover?
We work with clients in every region across the UK, delivering design, bespoke furniture and fit-out projects. We also deliver furniture to France, Belgium and more.
How do you work?
We cover the whole UK and have completed projects in every region.
What is your process?
Projects typically begin with an initial brief and site survey, followed by space planning and 3D visuals to develop the design. Once the scheme is agreed, an itemised quotation is prepared for the proposed works. Following project confirmation, finishes, specifications and detailed drawings are finalised before moving into fit-out, manufacture and installation.
What are the next steps?
The first step is an initial conversation to understand the project, scope, location and requirements. From there, we can recommend the most suitable service and outline the next stages.
Can I order bespoke displays or furniture without using your design or fit-out service?
Yes. Mewscraft designs and manufactures bespoke furniture and displays as a standalone service, from reception desks and counters to display cabinetry and specialist one-off pieces.
Can Mewscraft manage the whole project?
Yes. Our turnkey service can take a project from design through to fit-out, installation and final handover, with the different stages coordinated through one team.
Can I use my own trades?
Yes. Our services can be adapted around an existing project team. Where clients are using their own trades, Mewscraft can provide detailed trade drawings, including electrical layouts, finishes and decoration information, giving contractors the information they need to deliver the agreed design accurately on site.
