Our brief from City University London: To create an inspiring and realistic environment for their ophthalmology department with the knowledge that it would be fully relocated to new premises in 2 years
Our clients Roshni and Haleema, had a great vision of how they would like to transform their reception and dispensing areas at the Fight for Sight clinic.
The clinic is a busy environment where ophthalmology students complete their training and become involved in dispensing to a variety of patients. But they felt it had become dated and was uninspiring for both the students and the public.
They wanted the students to learn in an environment more realistic to a working optical practice. Our designers worked hard to create a vibrant, state of the art dispensary, using the universities colours of red, white and black.
By October 2013 it was all installed and a fresh intake of students were benefiting from the new environment. Then, in 2015, City University’s Fight for Sight Eye Clinic was on the move!
They contacted us to discuss their move to a new site within the University. Mewscraft’s designers worked closely with Roshni and Haleema once again to relocate this highly advanced dispensary to its new location.
Mewscraft’s fit-out team worked tirelessly for 2 days carefully transferring all the displays and furniture from one premises to the other. The end result was a beautiful, new, state-of-the-art Eye Clinic with stunning displays and furniture.
