Michael Offord Optometrist

Fresh.
Fun.
Modern.

In 2022 Mewscraft was given the honour of transforming the client’s existing practice in Newcastle. The team asked us for a design which was modern, welcoming and trendy.

This practice is aesthetically pleasing as well as functional, with a strong sense of brand identity. The welcome desk, the curves, and the pastel colour palette make the interior feel fresh and fun, yet professional.

Mewscraft started by revising the client’s existing layout to make the space more open, create a semi-private dispensing area and improve the functionality of the practice. Project management was crucial in this job to allow the clients to keep the practice running on the 1st floor and only close for  the minimum time possible.

Pops of black and deep red from the client’s branding are carefully used throughout the space. To soften the aesthetic against these bold colours, frosted acrylic partitions, oak effect herringbone flooring and feature accent lighting have been used.

With private dispensing areas, partially see-through partitions and elegant frame displays the practice is a leader in the way Optics and the services provided are changing to suit the generations to come, whilst keeping existing patients happy.
