Our clients moved their well-established practice to a new location in Cumbernauld, The Antonine Shopping Centre.
Mewscraft were engaged to transform the empty shell into an inspiring and modern interior. The brief was to provide a modern and contemporary environment, which would be suitable for the location and clientele. They wanted it to be Mid-end and incorporate their branding colours and identity.
The crucial part of the refurbishment was to get the patient flow and function perfect. Once this was achieved, we set to work on the displays and furniture. The retail area has two floor finishes: A herringbone tile to the left and a limestone effect tile to the right. This breaks up the space and guides Customers either towards the frame display, or the Welcome desk and dispensing areas behind.
The dispensing desks are separated by low level partitions, with clear acrylic in a black frame. This adds privacy without closing the space off. In the front left retail space, the stunning ELIZA display table is multifunctional in its purpose. Not only does it encourage people to browse, it provides the staff with a table to discuss frames, show feature collections and provide additional storage.
Oak finishes to the display furniture and LED lighting bring the displays to life. The beautiful wallpaper to the rear adds a richness and individuality, which is enhanced further by the feature pendant light cluster above the display table. The LED illuminated display shelves are a variation on our LOLA system, and the black Alumina display rods offer security to the frames where needed.
