Mewscraft was commissioned to provide a complete design and trade package for a client based in Johnstone, Scotland. Due to the distance, we delivered the entire project remotely, supplying 2D floor plans, 3D visuals, and detailed trade drawings for use by the client’s trusted team. This approach worked well, and we remained on hand to offer support wherever needed throughout the process.
A major focus of the design was to reflect the client’s bold and vibrant brand identity, especially their signature orange colour. Our designers met this challenge by weaving the brand palette into the space in a way that felt energetic and welcoming, while still ensuring the products remained the central focus.
The layout was another critical element of the project. The open-plan nature of the unit allowed us freedom to shape the flow and feel of the environment. However, this also required careful consideration to ensure the final layout was both functional and balanced, creating a space that was intuitive to navigate and inviting for customers.
To elevate the interior and convey a sense of quality, we specified high-end materials throughout. A standout feature was the bold, velvet-textured wallpaper, chosen to add depth, personality, and a luxurious finish to the space.
The project also included the design and production of bespoke furniture and display units, made by Mewscraft and installed by their skilled joiners. The final result is a visually striking, brand-led space that’s both practical and engaging.
