Adkins Opticians
Adkins Opticians is a family-run practice in the historic market town of Diss, Norfolk. With rich green hues, charming duck wallpaper and warm wood tones, this newly refurbished optical practice is a sight to behold.
We loved working with the architectural character of this building and the classic features that the space beholds. When choosing the colour schemes and materials, the client and designer both felt passionate about choosing a pallet that was sensitive to the history of the practice and town.
Ducks flock to this quaint town and take up residency on the local mere during spring and summer seasons. To incorporate this spirit of the town, the designer used duck wallpaper with traditional colours and a soft aesthetic.
The outcome is a practice filled with natural hues, subtle brass features and antique-styled furniture which pour out through the large windows, catching the eye of passers-by.
