Mewscraft were approached at Optrafair in 2015 and invited to propose a new design for a large head office in Wrexham.
The main objective of the fit-out was to improve the existing office space by incorporating a large training and reception area using inspirational features to reflect the company’s ethos. Mewscraft’s design team worked closely with the client to produce an outstanding final design that brought their brief to reality.
This new vibrant look was achieved by replacing the existing walls with new full height glazed partitioning and introducing LED lighting to brighten up the office space. The fantastic new lighting, along with the new flooring, helped define the separate reception, office and training areas and dimmable LED’s allowed the effective use of a projector. The curve in the floor was inspired by the company logo and helped direct the flow through the corridor to provide a safe working environment. Brand colours were an important part of the design and these were brought to effect through subtle hints of the decoration proposal and soft furnishings.
Quality displays and furniture were a crucial part of the overall look and were placed in the prime location of the improved entrance to the head office. The new furniture creates a more relaxed and welcoming environment, and folding desks provide a more flexible working and training space. Through the use of subtle LED lighting and innovative moving products the new displays generated a space that was truly eye catching.
The final result was a remarkable open space with a modern and creative look incorporating amazing displays, furniture and lighting to help bring a friendly and clean working environment. These attributes helped blend training with hospitality to provide a memorable customer experience.
